“Biorina Winter Rally Rokiškis 2026” maps are published

Autosport can be dangerous

At last, the frequently asked question can be answered: when will the competition maps be published? The organisers have revealed the locations of four special stages where many fans who already missed the winter rally will gather this Saturday.

For the second time, the winter rally held in the Rokiškis region will offer competitors completely new special stages this year. There are many roads suitable for rallying in these areas, so the organisers have the luxury of choosing a different competition route. While last year the competition caravan moved south from the service area in Rokiškis, this year the competitors will tackle the ice- and snow-covered sections in the north.

This year, the organisers have paid even more attention to spectator comfort. A spectator zone will be set up on one of the special stages, where it will be possible to watch a very long section of the stage. This zone, located on speed stages 6–8, is easily accessible by car, with parking available in a cleared area, and food and toilets will also be provided. The organisers ask spectators to respect private property, take all rubbish with them, and build fires only in barbecues, not on the ground. They also request that cars be parked only in designated areas, which will be marked with appropriate signs. Only by being mindfull can we ensure a long and successful future for the rally in Lithuania.

The “Biorina Winter Rally Rokiškis 2026” will take place on sections familiar to competitors and on never-used sections. In fact, competitors have only driven some of the legendary special stage sections in this region during the summer, and everything looks completely different in winter. The specifics of a winter rally will force participants to re-evaluate familiar corners and jumps. If in the summer you could still save yourself by running into a meadow in case of a mistake, in winter the snowbanks will not let the car go so easily.

The organisers have managed to find a wide variety of special stages this year – competitors will race both in forests and in more open areas. Extremely fast sections will quickly be replaced by slow, winding stretches, and the terrain will offer more than one jump.

More than 50 participants from Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland have registered so far. After the competition, all participants and guests will be treated to a fakir and laser show, followed by a awards ceremony.

During the “Biorina Winter Rally Rokiškis”, wristbands (tickets) will be available for purchase at the entrances to the speed stages and from 2026-01-30 at 12:00 at the Rokiškis District Municipality (Rally Centre). Ticket price: 15 EUR.

The event is free for children under 12 years of age.
